Quality continuing education courses at a convenient location – As a benefit for being member, an annual 19 hours of CE credit can be obtained through 4 events held quarterly and participating in the Newsletter CEs throughout the year. To obtain 19 hours of CE credit from any other source would cost hundreds of dollars.

Great networking opportunities – with 200+ active members, we are the largest Optometric Society in California. Large turnouts at our popular CE events promise a great way to network with colleagues.

Social events to promote camaraderie – There is a good chance you’ll run into an old classmate or establish a lot of new contacts.

A voice for the Asian American Optometric community – We work closely with The Southern California College of Optometry at Ketchum University and Western University of Health Sciences: College of Optometry to support the future generations of Optometrists through scholarships. As a member, you will be able to participate and help mentor future doctors at events like our May Honor’s Banquet.

We give back! You’ll be given an opportunity to contribute to charities by participating in our fun and very popular CE raffles. For instance, we have raised thousands of dollars for charities such as the Haitian Earthquake fund through CE events.
